PTIHOSE Burgesses of the West Ward who JL are favourable to the return of the above Gentleman as a Representative of their interests in the Common Council, are hereby informed that a Preliminary Committee will sit on Monday evening, at 8 o'clock, at the White Hart Hote.l, for the purpose of making such arrangements as shall be deemed necessary, to convene a General Meeting of the Doctor's voters, on Wednesday evening in the large room — which latter meeting will be confined to the West Ward and those who are willing to put down their names on the Doctor's list. The object of such meeting is to ascertain the number of voters for Dr. Bennett, and to make preparations for the ensuing nomination and election. Those who are in favour of the Doctor, who belonged to the General Committee are invited to attend the Meeting of the Prelimiaaiy Committee on Monday evening. On behalf of the Committee, Wm. Griffin, Proposer, October 24th, 1851. '
