A GENERAL MEETING of the Burgesses -^- of the East Town Ward, will be held at Mr. Jerry Waite's Brick House, Queenstreet, on Monday evening next, at -|-past 7 for 8 o'clock, for the purpose of considering the steps advisable to be taken in order to secure a fit and proper person to represent the Ward in the Common Council of the Borough.
