Anniversary Services.
THREE SERVICES will be held in the Presbyterian Church on Sabbath first, in commemoration of the opening of that place of Worship. That in the forenoon, at 1 1 o'clock, by the Rev. J. Inglis. That in the afternoon, at 3 o'clock, by the Rev. A. Reid, (an Address to the Young). Thai in the evening, at 6 o'clock, by the Rev. A. M'Donald. Collections will be made at each Service in aid of the Building Fund. At the close of the Prayer Meeting on Monday Evening next, the Treasurer will wait in the Church for the purpose of letting the Seats, and receiving the Seat-rents for the current year. W. S. EDUCATION.
MR. J. ROBINSON, having had several years experience in the work of Teaching when resident in the Mother Country, purposes to open a Seminary, situated protempore in Barrack -street, near Mr. Waite's Brick House, Upper Queen-street. Branches taught, — Reading, English Grammar, Geography, Writing, &c, Arithmetic, Book-keeping, Mensuration, Algebra, &c, &c. Terms, payable weekly or quarterly, in advance, 15s. or upwards per quarter. No extras charged. EVENING TUITION.
J. R. being anxious to gain, by a unity of effort, the interest and affections of his pupils, requests the cordial co-operation of their friends. The system of teaching adopted is intended to be made as agreeable and effective as possible. N. B. — To be commenced on Monday, April 14th, 1851.
AUCKLAND ACADEMY.
JG OR, R I E respectfully intimates that * the Second Quarter of the Session will commence on Monday next, the 14th instant. Branches taught, — English Reading and Grammar, Writing, Arithmetic, Geography, (with the use of Maps and Globes), Mathematics, Latin, Greek, &c. Hours of attendance from 10 to 1, and from 2 to 4 o'clock. April Bth, 1851.
