The Caiherinn, Captain Henry, arrived at Kawau on Thursday last, after a passage of fourteen days (although she experienced li^ht winds throughout) from Newcabtle. She will deliver portion of her caruo at Messrs. Wliitaker & Heale's copper woiks — afUr discharging which, she will come on to thin port to load up for California. Spoke the Narwhal wlinler of London, standing to ihe Bay of Islands on Sunday last ; — and saw aevoral black whales off the North Cape. A mail from Sydney, ila'ed 19lh Feb., containing a few (L'tteio, sent up by the Captain of ihn vessel, has been received at 'he Post-Office. Monganul — The Vivid, that arrived on Monday last, reports the following vtssels at the hirbour of Monganui when she left :— Janion, U. S. ship, Ham* mond, 6*- months from New Bedford, 240 bis. sperm. —Condon, Keiupton, 5 months out, 80 bis. whale, 40 bis. sperm oil, and 500 lbs. bone.
