TENDERS FOR REPAIRING THE WHITE BRIDGE ON THE HOWICK ROAD.

Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 20th August, 1850. TENDERS will be received at this office, until Thursday, sth September, 1850, from parties desirous of perfqttning the necessary repairs of the White Bridge ou the Howick Road. Further particulars relative to this service may be obtained on application at the Office of the Superintendent of Works. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, August 15, 1850. rpENDERS will be received at this Office •■• until noon of Friday the 20th day of Sept. next, from persons who may be desirous of contracting for the erection of Buildings for a Market at the bottom of Shortland Street. Specifications may be seen and further- particulars obtained at the office of the Superintendent of Works. Office of Ordinance, Auckland, August 24th, 1850 NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will be received at this office until noon of the 17th September next, from persons willing to undertake the performance of the following services at the Military Barracks, Auck- j land, for one year, from the Ist of October, 1850, to the 30th September, 1851, viz. — Washing and Repairing Soldiers' and Hospital Bedding, Sweeping Chimnies with a proper machine, Emptying and Removing Soil from Cesspools and Ashpits. Persons whose tenders may be accepted will be required to give reasonable security for the due performance of their engagements. Every particular relative to these services may be obtained by application at the Barrack Office, Fort Brittomart, between the hours of 9 and 3 o'clock, on any day previous to the I 17th proximo, where also fqrms of tender can j be seen.
