NOTICE.

Onehunga, August, 1850. IN consequence of reports of unauthorised Stock beinjr «t large on the Mount Smart Run, tbe Wardens of Onehuuga have authorised the Ranger, Mr. D. G. Smalc, to impound all unnu horised Stock found tresspassing on the Eastern portion of the Onehunga Run, on the Crown waite lands, or public roads, extending- from the bridge on the great trunk road leadiDg to Otahuhu, to the Epiom, and Onehunga road. And from the greater portion of open lands in the western portion of the Hundred being private property, with very inconsiderable portions of Crown Land*, the Ranger will not enter that division except on information being given by some licensed person, of unauthorized Stock running therein, when the Ranger will render his services to drive such stock to pound, for which he will claim bin fee, but the respomibiity cf such stock depasturing therein being unlawfully impounded, will rest wiih the informant.
