The Kiwi, Captain McLean, left Shu Francisco on Hie 10th April ; arrived at Oahu in 28 days (9th May) ; left Honolulu on the 7th June ; touched at Pola ; and arrived at Vavau on the 7th ultimo. Tun BAitaun Noble.-' By letters, and other private sourcei, we learn that this vessel had arrived nt Pitcairns Island, all well, on tbe 24th of March. Captain Parker and his passengers landed at this interesting island ; and, having made arrangments for the purchase of certain provisions, the Captain and Mr. Webster returned in the evening to the ship, leaving bis passengers to enjoy the hospitallity of the natives and the pleasures of the shore. In the morning, a gale had arisen, and for three or four days tbe ship was perceived to be hove to. On the foui th day, tbe weather having moderate, she wasjseen to be approachiug|the

aocst. Suddenly, however, when the voyapers were in expectation of immediate re-embnikation, she l>ore up, and quickly dissappeared in the eastern horizon, leaving Messrs. Carlron, Brodie, Baron dp Thierry, Taylor, and Vaile, island •bound. This, unahle as we at present are to explain causes and effects, appears to be a singular pioceeding, but-, no doubt the ship's log, will at a future date, satisfactorily clear up the myitery. Circumstances, beyond our ken, uiny haveljprevented Captain Parker from making the land. As it was — Messrs. Cailton and Mr. Brodie, on the llih of March found a passage to San Francisco by the "Colonist," Cnptain Marshall ; whilst Baron de Thierry, Mr. Taylor, and Mr. Vaile, got away on the 21st, by the " Velocity," to Honolulu, and having arrived there, were to proceed by the same vessel to San Francisco on the 18th of May. From the tenor of the letters, the presumption is, that the passngeof of the " Noble" up to the period of their unlucky spp* aration, had been a prospeious, one. Iv all probability we shall speedily receive tidings of her arrival.— Southern Cross.

There were three persons theinm contact with the boat, and sinking her, while they boat at the time of the accident, but Geo. Askew, the other narty managed to swim ashore, while Butdett and the Maori were swept a way by the current, — Wellington Independent, June 22.
