P ARTIES who may wish to secure for their Mares the service of the above iselL known horse, arc informed that from about the Ist of September he will be aHowed to run at large in the paddocks of the undersigned at One Tree Hill, where Mares will he received to depasture at 2s. 6d. per head, per week, and a. fee of 10s. for the sen ice of the horse, no charge will be made for foals running by the side of the mares. To prevent any accident the horse will be stript of his shoes, and no mare will be leceived unless also stript. Without professing to be a perfect judge, tke undeisigned believes that most of those who arc so, will agree with him in opinion that off the grass, foals are more certain, and are generally superior in soundness, health, and strength to any other. TO STOCKHOLDERS— PROPRIETORS OF PADDOCKS, WHO MAYBEDKSIROUS OF CLOSING THEM FOR HAY —AND OTHERS.
ON or about the Ist of September, the Undeisigned will be prepared to receive Cattle to dcpastuic in his paddocks at One Tiee Hill, and will be answerable for the le-dilevcry of all that may be committed to Ins ca*e, except in the case of death. The charge will be Is. per head, per week, but to parties sending a considerable number a reduction will be made. No Bulls will be taken in, unless of a good breed, and for one or two of such no charge will be made. No Cattle will be received unless legibly branded with the initials or othet maik of the owner. Parties leaving stock in the charge of the undersigned, and who may wish to dispose of the same, by leaving with him authority to do so and the price required, may depend upon his using his best endeavours, without any chaigc. One day in each week to be fixed by the majority of (he owners, the undersigned, or in lus absence, a duly authorised person, will be ready on hoisebacfe to meet such parties as may wish to go over the ground to exam me the. stock ; and at all times the paddocks will be open to parties having cattle miming therein, but no dogs will be allowed to enter, and any found in them will be destroyed. Persons not owners of cattle trespassing in the paddocks, or disturbing the cattle will be piosecutcd. Paities who may wish to avail themselves of this opening are lequested to make eaily application, in order that proper airangcments may be made, and also to view the paddocks previously to completing such airangemcnls. WHEREAS about Ten days jhmcc, a Ngio Tiee, growing on the pioperty of the Undersigned — near Mr. Kellys brick house at Onehunga — was feloniously cut down and destroyed, or carried away, a Reward of TWO POUNDS will be paid to any person who may give such information as will lead to the conviction of the offender or offendeis.
