Naval Intelligence.— Trincomalee, August 7.— Her Majesty's iteam sloop Fary, Commander Willcox* left this for Madrai on the 19th ult,, to bring coals and provision!— the former for herself, the later for our small squandron here During her atueace the Canada freight ship arrived with abundant supplies of everything from Deptford, and on the 29th ult. the Fury returned from Madras. A small ichooner, the Australia, purchased for the colony of New Zealand, at Bombay, and brought here by the Cambrian, 40, Commodore Plumeridge, C.8., left this place for Singapore on the Ist inst., in charge of Lieutenant Webber, of Hei Majesty's ship Hastings, 72, flag of Rear-Admiral Sir Francis Cotiier, C.8., &c. On the arrival there she will be handed over to the Hon. Cap. Keppel, of Her Majesty's ship Meander, 44, which ship is about to quit ihis station for the Pacific, and on her way will leave the Australia at New Zealand.— > Times, September 58
