FIRST MATCH. Prize not less than £15. —Enirance £2 2s. For DECKED BOATS, not exceeding 25 tons, to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of a boat to be moored off the Watchman, round to the north of the boat, down to a boat to be moored off the North head,.- pass to the north of that boat, round to the south, and back to the " Josephine," passing to the south of her. ' ■
SECOND MATCH. Prize not less than £10.—Entrance £1 Is. For CARGO BOATS, to start from the " Josephine" pass to the north of the boat at the North head, round {o the south, pass to the south of the " Josephine" and of the boat moored off the Watchman, round to the north of that boat and pass to the south of the " Josephine."
THIRD MATCH. Prize not less than £7.—Entrance £1 Is. For WHALE BOATS, to be pulled by 5 oars, and steered with a steer oar, t o start from the "Josephine" pass to the north of the white buoy off the north head, round to the south, and pass to the south of the " Josephine."
FOURTH MATCH." J Prize not less than £4.—Entrance 10s. 6d. For SAILING BOATS not exceeding 4 tons; to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of the boat moored off the Watchman, round to the north, pass to the south of the Albert buoy, round to the north, and pass to the south I of the " Josephine.
FIFTH MATCH. Prize not less than £6.—Entrance 15s. For BOATS exceeding 4 tons and not exceeding 10 tons ; to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of the boat moored off the North Head, round to the north, pass to south of boat moored off the Watchman, round to the north, and pass to the south of the " Josephine."
SIXTH MATCH, Prize not less than £5.--Entrance 10s. 6d. For GIGS, open to all boats pulled by 4 oars; to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of the Watchman, round to the north, and pass to the south of the " Josephine."
SEVENTH MATCH. Prize not less than £3.—Entrance 7s. 6d. For WATERMEN'S BOATS, pulling a pair of skulls ; to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of a boat to be moored off Judge's Bay, round to the north, and^pass the " Josephine," to the south.
EIGHTH MATCH. Prize not less than £2.—No Entrance. For DINGIES, to start from the " Josephine," pass to the south of a boat moored off Mechanics' Bay, round to the north, and pass the " Josephine" to the south.
NINTH MATCH. Prize not less than £2.—No entrance. For all BOATS pulling a pair of Sculls, and same course as Match 7. <
TENTH MATCH. Prize not less than £4 for the first Canoe, and£l for the second.—No entrance. For CANOES not to be manned by more than 12 Maories ; same course as for whale-boats.
ELEVENTH MATCH. Prize not less than £6 for the first Canoe, and £2 for the second.—No entrance. For CANOES to be manned by an unlimited number of Maories; same course as last race.
DUCK AND DRAKE RACE. Prize not less than £3. The Duck to be caught by the bowman of the Gig, within a quarter of an hour. i
