Oct. 15 —Kiwi, brig, 100 torn, McLean, master, from Kaipara, with 30,000 feet of sawn timber, 80 rickers, 2 tons of potatoes, 30 bushels rye grass leed, 4 bag* do , do., 4 boxei, 1 sofa, 2 casks, 1 keg butter. Oct. 15.— Alligator, 15 tons, Eukt, master, from the Wakatane, Bay of Plenty, with 554 baskets of potatoes, 1 ton flax, 3 casks pork. Oct. i C— Edward, schooner, from the Bay of Island!.

Melancholy Accident and Loss of threjj Lives at Kawau.— We regret to learn that Mr. Eddie, Mate of the Josephine, and tiro seamen belonging to that barque were drowned on Sunday, the 3Orh ult., a boat in which they had gone out for a pleasure sail having been struck and sunk* by a heavy squall.
