W. S. Grahaine, agent. , Oct. U.—Bon Accord, 17 tom, H. Quick, maiter, from Knwau and Coromandel, in ballait. Oct. 15.— Alligator, 15 tons, Eukt, master, from the Wakatane, Bay of Plenty, with 554 baskets of potatoes, 1 ton flax, 3 casks pork. Oct. i C— Edward, schooner, from the Bay of Island!.

Melancholy Accident and Loss of threjj Lives at Kawau.— We regret to learn that Mr. Eddie, Mate of the Josephine, and tiro seamen belonging to that barque were drowned on Sunday, the 3Orh ult., a boat in which they had gone out for a pleasure sail having been struck and sunk* by a heavy squall.
Mail* will be made up at the General Post Officv, a-* follows :— For Mauritius. Indin, and England, by the Oriental Queen, on Friday the. 19th in*t., at noon. For Sydney, Lond >n, Sec, by the Josephine, on Saturday, the 20th imt. t at noon.
