AUCKLAND KACES. AT A GENERAL MEETING of the members of the New Ulster Jockey Club, holden at the Exchange Hotel on Monday Evening, the 15th instant, E. Mayne, Esq., in the Chair, it was resolved — Ist. — That Captain Greenwood be appointed Honorary Secretary. 2nd. — That a Committee of three chosen by ballot from the Members present, be appointed to manage the funds connected with the ensuing Races. Mcmbeis chosen for the Committee of management :•— Messrs. Young, D. Graham, & J. Macky •3rd. — That the 1 lth of December (being the anniversary of the discovery of New Zealand) be fixed for the commencement of the ensuing Race Meeting, and the races to be as follows : First Bay. MAIDEN PLATE. Heats once round the Course. LADIES' PURSE. Single event. Twice round. 13 stone. Gentlemen riders, HACK RACE. Single event. Once round, and a distance. Catch weights. j INNKEEPER'S PURSE, Heats — Once round and a distance. Second S&avMETROPOLITAN PLATE. Heats twice loundthe Couise. GARRISON PLATE, Heats once round. 11 stone. Gentlemen rideis. PRODUCE STAKES. Heats once round. Tti&rd Bay. HURDLE RACE. Single event. Twice round— 6 leaps, 3 feet ; 6 hurdles solid, weight 12 stone. CONSOLATION STAKES. Handicap, single event. Twice round. NATIVE RACE. Single event, Twice round. Catch weights. When the weights for particular races are not specified, Jockies will ride according to the 1 lth article of the "Bye Laws of the New Ulster Jockey Club. No person is qualified to start as a Gentleman rider unless he be a Member of the New Ulster or other recognized Sporting Club in Australian Colonies, or a Commissioned Officer in the Army or Navy.
