NEW GENERAL STORE JUST OPENED IN SHORTLAND STREET, (Opposite the Royal Exchavge Hotel.) tpRANCIS EVANS has much *- pleasure in announcing to his numerous friends, and the Public of Auckland, Kawau, and the surrounding districts, that he has just opened a Store as above, where with the assistance of their patronage, he intends to conduct an extensive business as a GENERAL DEALER. His STOCK ofGOODS, to which he would now call the attention of Housekeepers in the Town as well as of Country Settlers, is of a very varied but exceedingly useful character, comprising almost every necessary article in Groceries, Hardware, Crockery, and I Glass ware, Tin ware, Drapery Goods, Ready Made Clothing, as well as a selection of Miscellaneous Stores well chosen and adapted to supply the demands of every customer.
