S. W. " Fiddleface" gained the prize for the best blood mare exhibited at the Maitland Agricultural Society's Show, in 1846. " Young Moses " is a dark bay with black points, stands 1 5^ hands high, and broke to Saddle — on view at the Exchange Livery Stables. HART $ SON Have the pleasure to announce that they are instructed by the proprietor, Thomas Paton, Esq., to Sell by Public Competition, on THIS DAY, 6th [October, at one o'clock, the above named Horse. In inviting the attention of sporting gentlemen to the sale of the above Horse, the Auctioneers would observe that there cannot be a doubt but that he will carry off more than one of the stakes at the ensuing Races. There is abundant time for training. The Horse " Young Moses" possesses all the points that denote speed, he is good bottom, in short his racing qualifications are unquestionable — on reference to the Sydney papers it will be seen that " Young Aaron" own bi other to " Young Moses" carried off the Maiden Plate at Maitland in January last, beating all his competitors, some of the best racing bloods in N.S.W., with great ease and in dashing style. " Young Moses" has been pronounced by the most competent judges quite equal to his brother in speed and strength.
