AUCKLAND RACES.

PERSONS desirous to erect BOOTHS on the Race Ground, at the forthcoming Anniversary, are requested to apply at the Exchange Hotel, on or before the 25th inst. January 9, 1849.

LOST, FROM the North Shore, and was seen taking the, "River, and swimming across towards Judge's Bay, A STRAWBERRY HEIFER, with tops of both ears off, marked with the Twofold Bay mark, and nunibeied 3D ou the rump.
