RULES.
Jockies must ride their horses to the weighing place, and he that dismounts before a Steward tells him, or wants weight, is distanced. Horses are distanced if their riders cross or jostle. All complaints of foul riding to be made at or before the riders weigh. Horses over weighted, to be declared at weighing, or lose their stakes. The races to commence each day at 12 o'clock. Time between heats, 20 minutes. No Jockey to be allowed to ride except in the usual racing costume. The Enterers of Horses to declare their colours at the time of entry •, and no change to be made, unless with the sanction of the Stewards. * No horse to be entered for any stake, except the Native Race, which is not bona fide the property of a Subscriber to the Race Fund of One Guinea. Entrances to be made with the Committee, at the Exchange Hotel, between the hours of (i and 10 on Thursday evening, 25th instant; when the entrances will be finally closed. All Stakes and Subscriptions to be made good befoie stalling, or the hoise will not be allowed to stait. All Matches to be declaied to the Commit--taii—LHL t.lu j F.ntrnnre Da's , thdt thes may be
inserted in the Lists ; unless made after that ,period, when they will come off on the 31st. The Owner of each horse entered for a Match to pay 10s. 6d. to the Race Fund. All disputes to be referred to the Stewards, whose decision will be final. The Course will be open for Training on the 15t!h instant. All Dogs* found on the Course will be destroyed.
