AT a General Meeting of the above Society, held at the " Masonic Hotel," on Saturday, 9th December, inst., Major Matson in the chair — it was pioposed by Capt. Rough, and seconded by Mr. Whytlaw, that the rules laid before the Meeting by the Piovisional Committee be adopted. Joseph. and Mr. Atkin. It was then proposed by Mr. Atkin, and seconded by Mr. Joseph, that the Secietaues with the assistance of the Committee, be empowered to collect the annual subscriptions forthwith.
