The French revolution has produced upon Sweden the wonderful effect instantaneously of reminding her Government of the wishes of the peopK Her Majesty has summoned the Ministers ot the " Constitution Committees," and has caressed to tl.em his urgent dedra tint they would immediately elaborate a circumstantial project which should do equal justice to all, to ihe co-burgere, and satisfy the reasonable demunds of the nation. The nation made great and just demands upon tho active energy of the " Constitution Committees," and his Majesty would watch over the progress of their labours with the most indefatigable interest. Count Hamilton, president of the committee, thanked his M»jesty, and observed that the committee had already taken thia important question into consideration, and would make known the result of its labours 'in the cour-e of the week, and lay before the States a detailed plan for the reform of the representative system The opposition journals acknowledge with greatngratitude that the King himself has now talien part in the reform of the constitution.— lbid.
