MR. HYAM JOSEPH TJEGS to inform the Merchants -*-* and Traders of Auckland, that, having obtained an Auctioneer's license, he has taken those commodious premises in Queen-street, adjoining the store of Mr.Woodhouse, for the purpose of holding periodical Sales of Merchandize, Furniture, and Effects, where he trusts to receive a share of the public patronage. Mr. Joseph would merely add, that, while every effort will be made to study the interest of all those who may favor him with their sales, they will find a promptness in rendering account sales, and a disposition to grant accommodation, that cannot fail to be highly satisfactory. Convenient and extensive Pens will be furnished for the sale of cattle and horses, with the advantages of excellent paddocks and stabling, and he will devote his attention particularly to this department of the business. Queen-street, June 23, 1848.
