The Herald has made a quick passage of ninety -nine days from the Downs ; the Reginald Heher has been, one hundred and twenty-two days on her passage from Liverpool, and the Robert Syers one hundred und twenty-seven from the Downs ; the latter however, was detained twelve days in the Channel from contiary winds. They have ipokfn no vessel connected wMi these colonies. — Sydnei/ Herald, March 29. English Shipping. — The Emma Eugenia, Beech, hence the 24th. May, arrived at Gnivesend on the 21st Novemner, and the Fifeshire, Punchanl, hence the 30th June, on the sth November. The Lima, Yule, henctj the 14th August, arrived in the Downs, on the 11th December, and the Union, Todd, P 0.P., h nee the 3rd July, also arrived on the 14 h DicemI.er. The Royal Saxon from Calcu ta, arrived in the D iwns on the llth December. The mail despatched from Sydney, by Beulab, on the 12th Au*us , v>as deliversd m London on the 24th November, — that by the Glenbervie, hence for Lima the llth Auguit, arrived in London about the luth December, and tho<e by the Oliver Cromwell and Wo 'dbridge, via V Iparaiso, about the Sam? date* The S.ilacia sailed from the Downs for Sydney on the 3rd December, but put bacic aga'n on the 7th, owing to heavy gales in the Cnannel, and the following day lost two anchors ; she resumed her voyage on the 13th December. The Jane Catherine (P.0.1'.) sailed from Deal for Sydney on the 12th December, and the Euphrates on the 19th December. The Gipicy, from Houart Town, arrived at Gravesend on the 28 th November. The Euinore sailed from the Downs for Adelaide on the 251h of November, but three days alter put back with Ims of foremast, bowsprit, maintop-nuisr, and damage to rig. {ting. The Sobraon, 430 tons, hailed from D.-al on the 14th Decem cr, for Plymouth, to embark emigrants tor Sydney, and wus axpected to s..il Irora thence about the 25th December. The Tiuti% 460 tons, Cass, !ia<l alto been taken up for the conveyance ot enaigran s 10 Sydney, and was to sail from London on the 16th, and Plymouth the 28th January. The William Stewart, 576 tons, Jamiesou. was to 6ail from London on the Bth January, for Plymouth, to embaik emigrants for Port Phillip The Untou, fiom Adelaide, the 10(h June, arrived in the Downs on the 15th November. The Brnnkenmoor, Carr, was to sail from Gravehend for Sydney on the 25th of December. The Sydney, Whyte, was appointed the (P.O.P) for January. She was to hi followed by the Ann Bites Slaughter, on the 10th January ; Honduras, Ciyzsr, on the 15th; and the Elphinstone, 425 tons, Tiilman, on 25tl»Jauuary. The Ann Miln, for Port Philip, was in the Downs 18to December. The Tanur, 556 tons, Hall, was to sail from Grav?send for Hobart Town on the 20th Dtcember, and the Himalaya abt u< the same time. The Aden, 422, Wad Jell, was load ing for Hobart Towni and the Princess Royal, Van Zoilecom, was advertued to proceed to the Sitme p< rt on her arrival from Sydney. The David Malcolm had sailed from London for Plymouth with emigrants for South Australia ; the Bolton 541 tons, Djvison, was to leave London for Plymouth, on the 28th December also to embark emigrants for Adelaide. The Jealous, 411 tons, Wilson, and the Albercon, 650 tons, Pain, were loading at London for Adelaide, and would sail about ihe Ist January. The Mount Stuart Elphin-itoiie 6" 11 tons, Ilolton, was chartered for the conveyance of convicts irom Gibraltar to Hobart Tow.i, and would leave Deptford about the 2Jth December. The Rlorayshire, 3 1 6, Barclay, was to sail from Deal for Launcisston on the 20th, and the Lydford, §57 tons, Stayner, on the 25th December. The Hindoo sailed from Deal for Adelaide on the 14th December. The brig Zulekm was to sail from Liverpool for Hobart Town and Sydney, and the barque Eanerdale for Sydney direct, early in Decembtr — Ib. The Indian, 557 tons, English, sailed from De-1 for New Zealand on the 16th November, and the Philip Lntng, from the Clyde, on the 29th of the same month.
