Provisional Committee of the" Auckland ■«■ and New Ulster Agiicultur.il Society," having met, in pursuance of a Resolution of tlio Meeting held at the Exchange Hotel, on the 21st March, 1818, feel it their duly to make known that the purposes of the Society will be to encourage, by every means in their power, by awarding Prizes for the best Hor&e Stock Cattle, Sheep, Swine, and Agricultural Produce, Fruits, Vegetables, and Na. tivb Productions, and piomote the diffusion of the best information lespecting the particular mode of cult me in this pait of Mew Zealand. His Excellency the Govcmioi -in-Chief has consented to become Patron, with a sibsci iption of, £10; and the following Gentlemen have enrolled their names as Members, wiih an Annual Subscription of One Pound.
