WE the Undersigned, having been mutually appointed by Messrs. H. White, and P. Sharky, masons, in Auckland, to de- , cide upon certain cash transactions between them, and having heard their statements, we decided as follows :~- Total amount of cash received £219 15 0 Total paid by both parties - - 162 17 11 Of the above sum Mr. White received £132 7 6 and paid out - - 118 5 9 Of the above mentioned sum Mr. Sharky received £87 7 6 and paid out - - 44 12 2 Each individual was to receive an equal share of the profits or balance, therefore, we found that Mr. Sharky was owing to Mr. White, the sum of £14 6s. 9£d. It would of course have been unnecessary to have brought this case before the public, had not our decision been called in I question* ; W. Robertson, J. Walker, Albert-street, August 10th, 1847.
