The Steamer ' Juno.'— This fine frigite built steamer came to an anchor, with a cargo of sheep, ca it le and horses, on the morning of Wednesday, at half past ten, having left Sydney heads on the eveniug ot' Monday the 14th ult. Her vo.age was unforiunately prolonged by a heavy north-east gale ; on the eveuiug of the 23 <1 the gale subsided, and veering to the w.est left a severe cross-sea, causing the vessel to send heavy, which bryke the pintles of her rudder, arid it uinantly sunk. In this dilemma, the vessel proved herself an excellent sea-boat, having damaged no part of her hull, nor shipped a soa. The sea being so heavy during the three following diys, «o assistance could be given to tha vessel. On the 26th a temporary rudder was constructed anil shipped, which brought her safely to anchor iji the Bay, of Islands, steaming at about half her speed. Having lengthened her temporary rudder, she agnn proceeded to sea, on the a'ternoon of Sunday, the 4th, but meeting a very severe sea off the heads, the welding which had been done iv the Bay, gAve, atid she was again obliged to return to her anchorage. Another temporary rudder was constructed, and she sailed for this port at tHree o'clock on the evening ol; Tuesday the 6ih, making the run from heads to heads in fifteen hours with a contrary wind. Out of 1000 sheet), 79 head of cattle, she lauded 670 sheep, and 48 cattle, having lust none of her horses. The Julia has been twenty-gist days on her voyage 1 from Hob art Town, in consequence of contrary w.ndS' and very heavy weather. She brings papers- to the 9ih ult, wheat con inued firm at ss. po ' I ushel, and fine flour at ion ; 1 read was 3d. the 2lb loaf.
