IS. -^Deposits of Persons unable to attend. Foims of signature may be had at the Bahk Office, enabling persons to become Depositors who cannot attend to sign the declaration appointed by the last Rule. Those who arc already Depositors, may send the Deposit Books or Duplicates and additional sums by other persons. 14.— Withdrawing Deposits. Depositors may receive the whole or any part of their money, by giving previous notice of their intention of withdrawing as tollows :— If under £5 — 7 days notice. „ „ 20 — 14 „ „ £20 and under . 35 — 30 „ „ „ £'65 or more ..... — 40 „ „ Provided, however, that they npply for payment at the hours previously fixed for making repayments to Depositors. Payments can be made only to Depositors personally, and on his or her receipt, or to the bearer of an order signed by the Depositor, and witnessed if the Depositor cannot write. Forms of such orders may he obtained "gratis" on application at the Bank Office. The Depositor's Book must always be produced when notice of withdrawing is given. 15.— 'Restrictions of Depositors. The Trustees reserve the right of rejecting or returning the Deposits of any person or persons whom they ' may deem it inexpedient to admit or continue as Depositois. IG.- -Arbitration of Differences. In case any difference shall arise between the Trusttes of this Bank, or any person or persons acting undor them, and any individual Depositor therein, or any Trustee, Executor, next of kin, or Creditor of any deceased Depositor, or any person claiming to be such, then , nnd in every such case, the matter in dispute shall be referred to the arbitration of two disinterested persons, one to be chosen or nominated by the Trustees, or the majority of them, and the other by the party with whom the dispute may arise : and in case the Arbitrators so appointed may agree, their decision shall be final and binding upon both parties ; but if they shall not agree, then such matter in dispute shall be referred in writing to Her Majesty's Attorney-General for the Colony, or to such other party as he may appoint to act on his behalf: and this decision of the Attorney-General, or of the person so appointed to act on his behalf, shall be final to all intents and purposes, without appeal, and the said award, order, or determination, shall declare by whom the expense of the reference to the AttorneyGeneral shall be payable, and such award, order, ahd determination shall be made a Rule of the Honourable the Supreme Court, and may be therein enforced by attachment. 17.— Liability of Trustees for their own acts only. That any one or more of the said Trustees shall not be answerable or accountable for the other or others of them, but each and every of them only for his and theij own acts, receipts, neglects, or defaults, respectively, | and that they, or any of them, shall not be answerable or accountable for any Banker, Broker, or other person, | with whom or in whose hands or custody any part of the said Trust monies shall or may be deposited or lodged for safe custody or otherwise, in the execution of the trusts hereby in them reposed, and that they, or any of them, shall not be answerable or accountable for the insufficiency or deficiency of any security or securities in or upon which any monies shall be placed out or invested, nor for any other misfortune, loss, or damage, which may happen in the execution of the aforesaid Trusts, or in relation thereunto, except tho same shall happen by or through their own wilful default respectively. 18.— Trustees to alter Rules when necessary. That, when necessity shall exist, the Trustees shall have power to revoke, modify, and add to, the foregoing Rules and Regulations, botli as to the rate of interest, amount of Deposits, and all other matters whatsoever, and such amended Rules shall (after being approved by the Governor) be binding on present and future Depositors.
