ENGLISH SHIPPING.
Tim Windermere sailed froni Portsmouth, for llobnrtTown, about the 10th October, having on board His Excellency Sir \V. Dcnison, (the new Governor of Van Dicmon's Land,) and suite. The David Malcolm sailed from Gravesend for Adelaide, on the first October, with emigrants. The Fifeshire, was to sail for Sydney on the 15th Octdher; Laubahdor, on the 25th October ; and the Sul- , tana. Langford, on the 10th November. The Kingston, 850 tons, Harwood; the Princess Royal, 543 tons, Doutty ; nnd the CalliboMca, 400 tons, Bayly, were advertised to sail for Adelaide in all October. Launch or a Missionary Smr.— The John Wesley, a "VVcslcyan Missionary ship, Wa launched from the building yard of Messrs. Thomas and John While, Southampton, on Wednesday week. This very handsome vessel is brig rigged, 250 tons register, and fitted with ovcry accommodatiori ncecssary ; a finely carved bust of the eminent man whose name she bears, ornaments her bows, and she is destined for the South Seas, where the Society already has a vessel called the Triton. A deputation of the Weslcyan Missionary committee, with Drs. Alder, Beaumont, Bunting, and many others were present. — Falmouth Packet, Oct. 10. [The John Wesley was to sail about the beginning of November, for Auckland "direct; she may consequently be expected to arrive 'in about a month.]
