The Avoca has been I*s days from Sydney, and biings the October English mail. She will proceed to Valparaiso in 5 or (5 days. The Hatcliffc, from London, arrived at Sydney the morning before tlve Avoca left. The ship Sydney, Captain White, from the Downs sth, and Falmouth 14th October, arrived at Sydney on tbo 27th January. This vessel lias made an extraordinary passage from Sydney to London and back again, having completed it in eight months and twenty- two days. She is the Post Office l'acket for October, and has brought a large mail.

John Bull, schooner, hence Bth January. Jan. 22. Ann, schooner, hence Bth, and Kawau Oth January. Jan. 24. Maukin, brig, hence 13th, and Kawau 16th January. Jan. 27. Lady of the Lalte, scli., hence 12(h January. The John Bull had a very good passage to Sydney ; she was to sail for Auckland two days after the Avoca. The Maukin has indeed sustained her character as a clipper by this voyage to Sydncy-*making that port fronv. Kawau in less than 9 full days. She was to leave Sydney for this port about Monday last. The Terror was also laid on for Auckland ; and the Deborah, for Wellington, Auckland, and the Bay of Islands.
