PORT NICHOLSON.
By the Vixen schooner, from Wellington, we liave received newspapers to the 24th June. The natives still retain possession of the ITutt, but are peaceable. There is some difference among the natives on the plains of Wairarapa. In a few months, we trust, there will be sufficient naval and military power in the Colony to enforce obedience to the laws, and to teach Rano-hiatea that he is not to act for ever with impunity.
