RUGBY FOOTBALL.
MAHENO CLUB. The annual meeting of the Maheno Football Club was held on Salurday night there being a good attendance. The president (Mr J. Dewar) occupied the chair. The annual repor.t and balance sheet were adopted. The chairman congratulated the club on its sound financial position, there being a credit balance of £24 15s. The following office-hearers were elected: — President, Mr L. Kelcher; vice-presidents, P. Dougherty, G. Bruce, senr., W. Nqill, R. C. Wilson, Alex Clark, senr., W. IVffildfew, W. McLennan, B. Ewing, W. S. Lawrence, J. Saville, junr., J. Dewar, R. Byers, W. P. Reid, senr., A. Watson, • Jas. Muldrew, F. Townsley; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. G. Clark; selectors, Messrs A. Lindsay, G. Bruce, Junr., J. Muldrew, and F. Townsley; delegates to *North Otago Sub-Union, Messrs A. Watson, G. Cox and A. Clark. The chairman congratulated the club on the very successful year it had had, and hopqd that the comIng season would be as successful. The annual subscription was fixed at 5s for seniors nnd 2s 6d for juniors. It was decided to try and arrange a match with some outside club before the season commences. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring president on the capable manner in whicb he had filled the position. The opening day was lixed for At.'i ix i-'Jt*
