i' ' LONDON, March 27. ! The. Daily News says that tlrs I opening of a complete Egyptian- ! Indian air route fixed for April 6 | has been postponed owing to the | Persian Government refusing to i sign agreements with the Imp'erial I Airways enabling an extension from ' Basra to Karachi. including the in- | stallation of wireles sand refuelling [ stations. Persia has hitherto perj mitted occasional flights and her rej fusal of a permanent agi'eement has I surprised the Air Ministry and Im- ! perial Airways, who believed tKat the arrangements were completed. They are still making an effort to secure Persian consent. The "Daily Mail" attributes the Persian opposition • to the air route to the intrigues of Bolsheviks who are attempting to secure an air concession for the Soviet.
