SYDNEY, Last 'Night. An action has commenced in which Jacob Johnson 'is claiming £20,000 damagQs from the Commonwealth Government, the Prime Minister and the Acting Superintendent of the Federal Police Force for alleged Wrongful arrest and falsc inlprisonment arisi'/g out of deportation proceedings in 1925. By direction of the Judge,, the jury awarded Johnson £20 damages as the defendants admitted wrongful arrest and! detention.
