CHINESE LABOUR DEMANDS.
SHANGHAI, March 26. The majority of industrial estab- ' lishments and essential services in Shanghai have now resumed full activity. A fresh clond, however, has appeared on the industrial horizon as a renewal of the general strlke is threatened to-morrow unless a number of demands forwarded to the Municipal Couneil are conceded.'The demands include a removal of the barricades and the nonarrest of labour union pickets and agitators.
