MELBOURNE, Last Night. In the Commonwealth Iiouse of . Representatives, Mr Rodgers asked j ' , for an inquiry into the superphos- ; , phates industry in Australia. He • stated that tbe price was £5 7s Gd j per ton, and at same date the price , in New Zealand was only £4 2s 6d. J ; There had been an increase of 7s 6d | per ton in Australia while at the j same time there had been a reduction in New Zealand of £1 8s 6d. { Mr Bruce (Prime Minister) stated * that the lower price in New Zea- \ land was the result of a trade war. |
