ANNUAL REPORT. i \ % The following is the annual re- | port of the Maheno Football Club, j to be presented at the meeting on : Saturday night: — 5 In presenting their annual report \ the committee have to congratulate - the club on tbeir excellent perform- • ances during the year. One team « was entered in the senior grade and one in the junior. Our senior team \ were successful in winning the : coveted Citizens' Shield for the first \ time since we entered the competi- | tion, and we heartily congratulate l them.' Then senior team were also 1 successful in winning the Clark j Shield and the Kurow seven-a-side, ? and were runners-up in the North j Otago seven-a-side. | The financial position of the club j is very sound, there being a credit Ibalance of £24 15s. We are indebted to ihe following for their continued support: Messrs P. Dougherty, B. Ewing, J. Dewar, Alex. Clark, Hill's Pictures, Alex!. McKenzie, W. !P. Reid, Geo. Bruce, Jnr. During the year we were tendered a complimentary" dinner by the residents of the districi on our success in the competition, and we wish to thanlc those gentlemen A^ery heartily for the very keen interest they have taken in our team. With -the coming season close at hand, we hope members are doing their utmost to keep fit, as it behoves every member to train if they wish to retain the shield. In conclusion, the committee wish to thank members for their loyal support and all thos£ who 3 helped to make the season so suc5 cessful.
