HUMPHREY BISHOP COMPANY RETURNING.
This popular Musical Company are due to commence a season of two nights at the Opera House on Thursday, March 24th. It is just a little over three Arears since the company left here for Anstralia. where they have played several . long seasons — nota'bly 21 weeks at ! the J. C. AVilliamson Theatre', Adclaide; "14 weeks at the Theatre Roy- 1 al, Perth; 22 weeks at Manly, Syd- ! ney, and 8 weeks at Cremorne Theatre, Brisbane. Several new members liave joinecl the company, of which more anon. Nevertheless there are several old favourites, inclding Humphrey Bishop, Wailtor Kingsley, Hilda Reaux, Frank Egaii, f(and George "Scratclier" ' Ross. Among the new artists is Mr Dan Flood, the. piano humorist, who is a native of Auckland, and who is very well known here. The season is limited to two nights, -and there will he a complete change of prpgr'ammq on the second night. Every item iif theYorthcoming productions will be entirely new from start to finish, and will include: "In Arcady," a screaming burlesque on teh Arcad-* ians. Tliis gives "Scratcher"' Ross ample opportunity for his clever comedy work. Box plans will open at the Bristol on Monday, 21st March, and early reservation is strongly recommended as there is sure to be a bumper house to welcome these old favnuritgs.
