A GIANT LILY.
Grown in the Waimate .distvict, and 011 exhibition in a local watchmaker's window, is a freak of nature of great beanty. It is a multiple head of lilium auratmn, with a stem of flat shape measuring five inches across and bearing in place of the^ iisUal half dozen trumpet shaped flowers, «o fewer t'han sixty beantifnl and fragrant blossoms.
