TRENTHAM, Last Night. Trentham's evil reputation among riflemen was darkened if that were possihle this afternoon when the Wellington match was in progress. A fresh breeze of the fishtail order came down from the rear, and simply played havoc with many scores. At time:; strong gusts swept hither and thither about the range sending the flags fluttering four ways at once so that the men were completely mystified. There are always some lucky ones, however, and today provided its quota who got on goocl totals despite meteorological handicaps. As the-leading scores indicate with two belt matches completed West (Blenheim) is leading with 189 followed by Goldfinch 188. Wellington match, ten shots, 500 tand 600 yards, £5. — J. R.
