HAMILTON, Last NigliL When returning from Te Awamutu last evening a car driven hy Frank Tutchen, of Frankton, and containing a party of Hamilton bowlers, collided with a lorry near Hamilton. All the occupants of the car were thrown . out, and E. R. Burton, chemist, of Frankton, sustained a fractured skull, the others escaping with a shaking. Rurton's condition was serious and is unchanged this morning, though he had recov.ered consciousness. Both vehicles were badly damaged. The lorry driver .was unhurt. A sad fatal accident .occurred at 9 a.m. to-day, when a young lady named Myra Morris, 18, of Frankton street, stepped off the footpath on her way to work, and was about to cross London street, when a heavy lorry driven by Edward Rouse, turned off the corner knocking her down. She was killed almost instantly. fPer Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. A sudden fate overtook John Wilson (56) at Ratapiko to-day. He was on his way to work this morning when, in negotiating a wir£ fence, he was electrocuted, an electric power line having fallen on the fence. Wilson's workmate missed him at the place of employment and later in the day went out and found Wilson dead.
