SYDNEY, Last Nxght. After a steaming day the city tonight was bombarded for an hour hy the fiercest thunderstorm and the heaviest downpour expex-ienc-ed for a long time. The streets ran inches deep and considerable property damage was done throurhleaking xmofs flooding the ba&jments.
