In the House of Gommons Sir Joynson Hicks, in answer to a question, said for two years he had expelled all aliens residing in Biitain if engagad in sxxbsex-sive activities; consequently it was difficir*. to find an alien in Britain at present engaged.in propaganda work. Mr Baldwin, in reply to Ji question, said in view of the United States initiative in connection with the disarmament question Britain must await th'e replies of other powers to Mr Coolidge before taking action. Mr GaiTo Jones asked: "Must the initiative always rest with the United States; cannot you take some initiative?" Mr Baldwin said: "There may be several initiativqs but the first rested with the United States until the conference was summoned. ,
