Civil Cases Judgment for plaintiffs hy. default was given in the following cases: — E. P. Lavery v A. Ws Claude ! £12 13s 7d and costs- same v W McPherson £3 2s 8d. | / Insanitary Pig Styes William Henry Harbour (Mr G. Pollock) pleaded gullty to keeplng pigs in an insanitary condition. Inspector Fischer said that on February 18th he found the pig styes on defendant's property in a filthy condition. He understood that defendant Avas getting rid of his pigs. Mr Pollock said defendant had put up a small temporary structure for the pigs and exposure to the weather had made it insanitary. The nusiance had simce been abated. A fine of 20s and costs was imposed, the Magistrate making R clear that defendant must get rid of the pigs. Rabbif Nusiance. 1 S. Silllrs, Kurow, Avas charged with failing to clear his property 1 of rabbits. Inspector Wagstaff said that since the case was adjourned defendant had done good work. The fine was fixed at £3 and costs. Dispute Over a Drain.v i ' j The case in which Robert MilliI gan claimed from James Ferris and ! Arthur J.
