Mr George Sumptcr reports that lie had n mitis factory sale at tlio Hoy. H. 0. Frcro'a at Kurow. '1 he furniture ami effects realised good prices. The horses fetched as follows : Roan cob " Cocky," 1.15 109 ; iron grey horse " Trigger " LI S. Cows sold at Ji 12s 6d, 14 2s 6d and L 3 5s ; and thrco y* avling steers ut 36s each. As Mr Frero's sale occupied the wholo of th»» day the auctioneer regretted to have to disappoint other vendors by not offering the stock that was brought forward. He could not continuo the sale the next day, ns until towards tlio last ho thought he would have had time to complete the sales in one day, and so did not give the requisite notice of con- [ tiuuation for the following diy Ho has, however, arranged to sell on 9th May next, when lie anticipates a good attendance of both buyers and sellors.
