News has been received by tho 'Frisco mail of tho death of John Cosjjrovo, merchant, San Francisco, formerly of Auckland. John Adoano, of Gi -borne, appeared to-day at tho Police Court to answer a charge under the Bankruptcy Act of failing to keep proper books. Tho case was adjourned,
