RIVERTON. May 10.

Another now reof has peei} discovered on the summit of Longwoodj'two miles abovo the prospectors' claim. The ground is pegged off for miles round, and is now taken up, from tho base of Long wood to the top. Very little real prospecting is being done until the leases have been granted by the Warden. A public meeting was held last night, at which a resolution was carried condemnatory of granting leases for large areas of ground. The prospectors having been granted protection for their "application," are now showing their prospects, which are exceedingly rich. They report a seam two feet thick.
