SPORTS AT HAMPDEN.
The Township of Harapden was a scene of spirited gaiety on Monday, the 2nd instant, on the occasion of the Races. The horses were in. excellent condition, and the jockeys added considerable display by riding in their lively colors. The scene altogether was almost equal to places of greater and the public mustered in full force. Clerk of the J Course—W. J. Prosser. Treasurer—Mr W. Murcott.
