Class B.— NEW ZEALAND BRED DRAUGHT STOCK. L4 for the best Entire Horse. L2 for the second best Entire Horse. L3 for the best Mare. L2 for the second-best Mare. L2 for the best Gelding above 3 years. Class O.—BLQOD-HOHSE STOCK. L5 for the best Thoroughbred Entire Horse. L3 for the best Thoroughbred Mare. Class D.— HACKS. L2 for the best Hack. LI for the Boeond best Hack. Class E.— CATTLE. L5 for the best Short-hom Bull above 2 years. L3 for the second best Short-horn Bull above 2 years. L3 for the best Short-horn Cow above 3 years. L2 for the second best Short-horn Cow above 3 years. LI for the best truss of Grass Hay. Class L.— AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS, (Manufactured in New Zealand). L3 for the best Plough. L2 for the best set of Harrows. L3 for tho beat Horse Cart for farm purposes. Class M.— MISCELLANEOUS. LI for the besfc 41bs. of homo-made Bread. 10s for the second best 41bs of do. SHEARERS' PRIZE. L3 for the best 5 shorn Sheep. L2 for the second beBt 5 do. (Time allowed for shearing to bo fixed by the JudgCB on the ground.) EXTRA STOCK. L20 to be left to tho discretion of the Judges. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Memtifers and Subscribers to the Association, and members of any other Agricultural Society, to exhibit fkee. Any person can exhibit Stock on paying a fee of Two Pounds ; and Farm Produce, Implements, &c , on paying a fee of Ten Shillings ; and Dairy Produce, Poultry, &c, on paying a fee of Two Shillings and Sixpence each exhibit. The name, residence, and district of the Exhibitor and Breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the Stock as far as known ; and of Sheep the time of shearing must be given to the Secretary, with entry One Month previous to the Show, or he will not be allowed to compete. All stock exhibited shall be honafide the property of the exhibitor or his principal. No competitor will be allowed to exhibit more than three lots of each description. Stock which cannot be shown in a competing class may bo exhibited as Extra Stock. In no case shall a premium be adjudged, unless the Judges shall deem tho lot to possess sufficient merit, more especially if only one lot is presented for a premium. All stock for competition to be taken into the Society's yards by eight o'clock on the morning of the Exhibition, except horses, which muBt be in the yard by 10 o'clock. Successful competitors for stock are at liberty to elect between money and medals. Letters with entries for stock should bo received by tho undersigned at Oamaru, not later than the 13th October ; and for Poultry, Dairy and Farm Produce, &c., not later than the 3rd November.
