RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Saturday, October 15tit. (Before T. W. Parker, Esq., R.M.) James Clerk, brought up for being illegally at night, on 14th inst., in an out-house adjoining Star and Grarter Hotel, was dismissed with a caution. Monday, October 17th. Neill Nicolson, for assaulting Mr S. Gibbs, was fined £2. Tuesday, October 18th. (Before Messrs. Paiker and Teschmaker.) Messrs. Rowley, Hamilton, and Wayne, were summoned by the Sub-Inspector of sheep, of breach of 13th section of the Sheep Ordinance, and fined Is and costs. Messrs. Fenwiek, charged with beina; owners of infected sheep contrary to Sheep Ordinance, were fined Is per head and costs, and to enter into bond to cleanse tho flock. (Before Messrs Parker, Teschmaker, Fomvick, and Vv"ayne.) Messrs. Schleuter and M'Lcod v. Desaunaia — Claim for goods delivered for station of Messrs. Pike, £10 12s. Plaintiff nonsuited.
