Proposed by Mr M. Holmes, seconded by Mr M. R. Miller, that the thanks of this meeting be gnen to the President, VicePresident and Committee for the manner in which they have conducted the business of the association during the present year. Carried. Mr Filleul proposed, and Mr Holmes seconded, that the Hon. John Hyde Harris

be asked to accept tlie office of President during; the current year. Carried. Proposed by Mr II. Campbell, and seconded by Mr Gardner, that Mr F. Fenwick be requested to take the office of Vice -President during the current year. Carried Proposed by Mr Filleul, seconded by Mr Holmes, that the following gentlemen be the Committee for the current year, v j z . : — Messrs. Alexander M'Master, W. G. Filleul, Gardner, H. Campbell, Hunter, James Hassell, Rich, E, Itoxby, M. R. Miller, Teschmaker, James M'Lean, C. Meyer, E. Julius, H. I. Miller, Gleeson, 11. Campbell, Jim., F. Walker, James M'Douald, F. Wayne. Carried. Proposed by Mr Holmes, and seconded by Mr Filleul, that Mr Locke be requested to act as Hon. Secretary for the current year. Carried. Proposed by Mr Gardner, seconded by Mr Filleul, that the Secretary be requested to advertise that the next annual show will be held at Oamaru on the second Thursday in November next. Carried. A hearty vote of thanks was then passed to the Chairman, and the meeting separated.
