POLAND.
The whole country is placed under martial law. The Poles have gained a victory in Seamos, and are preparing fresh forces for the spring. The conviction is gamine ground' that Poland will soon be released from Russian rule. Prussia intends sending 00,000 men to the frontiers, to overawe the Poles, and cheek revolutions. Twenty thousand Poles have been killed, and 32,000 banished since the eoinmi ncement of the insurrection. The Russian forces in Poland number 172.000 men. The secrets of the Polish Revolutionary Government have been discovered, and 9U00 persons ai rested.
