OAMARU ANTI PLEURO- PNEUMONIA SOCIETY.

The above society met at Mr Hassell's office, Oamaru, on Tuesday last. Present : Messrs Campbell (chairman), French, and Hassell. Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. A letter from Mr Home, Inspector, was read. Resolved, that a reward of £10 be offered for the conviction of any person or persons allowing their cattle to pass out of the infected district into that lying north : and that the same be advertised in the Oamaru Times, and also by poster throughout the district. The Hon. Secretary was instructed to write to His Honor the Superintendent, urging the immediate appointment of a paid Inspector for the district lying north of the Horse Range, since there is evidence to the effect that the disease is rapidly spreading over the proclaimed district.
