Events to Come.
Lovers of sport will be well catered for during the next couple of weeks. Among the chief events announced, Parengarenga athletic sports, regatta and hack races will come first on December 23rd and 24th, with a lengthy and liberal programme which should attract good entries. Then come Waipapakauri annual races on 2Gtb and 27th December, which will provide two days’ good sport; and last, but not least, is the Mangonui annual meeting on 2nd January, when the Cup will be contested by some of the cracks of the North.
